August 9, 2007 (Smartville, CA.) – The Kodak Gallery Pro Cycling Team, Presented by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., today accepted an invitation from Medalist Sports to participate in the inaugural Tour of Missouri. The race starts on September 11, in Kansas City and concludes on the 16th in St. Louis.

“The Team is proud to be a part of this inaugural event. It is exciting to see another major tour taking shape in the United States. We look forward to showcasing our strength against some of the most well known names in international cycling,” said Team Co-Director, Kurt Stockton.

The Kodak Gallery Pro Cycling Team is the world’s first 100% Carbon Neutral pro sports team. All team member travel and vehicle emissions resulting from its participation in the Tour of Missouri will be 100% off-set with renewable wind power courtesy of sponsor Renewable Choice Energy.
