BIO
A talented athlete with a powerful engine, Jason Allen splits his time between Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada and New Zealand's world-class track cycling program.

Starting off the 2005-2006 winter track season, Jason was part of New Zealand's winning team pursuit at the World Cup in Manchester, England in December 2005 and took third in the individual pursuit at the Los Angles World Cup in January 2006.

At the Commonwealth Games in March of this year, Jason put his horsepower on display and turned out a personal-best 4:22.9 in the individual pursuit qualifying round, just a second off the fastest time of the competition.

After returning stateside following the world track championships in April, Jason's first major result came at the Kelly Cup in Baltimore over Memorial Day weekend, where he made the winning breakaway and placed fourth.

Racing a similar program in 2005 with McGuire-Langdale, Jason showed that, despite his track racing pedigree, he can endure both distance and bad weather by taking 5th in the wet, cold 137-mile finale of the Tour of Connecticut in May, followed by second place in the Tour of Somerville.
