Head Mechanic, Ed Chavez, leaves a long and very successful career wrenching on mountain bikes to join the Kodak Gallery Pro Cycling Team, presented by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. His most recent gig with the Maxxis DH team took him around the world.

When it comes to making sure all the details are dialed, Ed's the guy. In his first year in the road scene, Ed is finding relief in fancy carbon road bikes that weigh less than a pair of downhill racing tires from his previous life.

On race day, Ed is on point in the pits or in the chase car, ready to handle any problems that a rider might face. At all other times, look for Ed at the team trailer...be sure to stop by and say, "Hi!"
