DECEMBER 23, 2005 SRAM ANNOUNCES KODAKGALLERY.COM/SIERRA NEVADA AS SOLE U.S. ROAD TEAM

SRAM will debut its much-anticipated new professional-level racing technology on the North American continental race calendar with the Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team.
The 12-member squad will be SRAM’s sole U.S.-based road team with a multi-year agreement that begins in 2006.

The Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team has announced the signing of Jonas Carney, a US Olympian and 25-time US national champion, as its Team Director for the 2006 season.

With both Kodak EasyShare Gallery and Sierra Nevada extending their co-title sponsorship of the Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team into the 2006 season, Principal Sports Management Group LLC has finalized the team's 12-rider roster for the coming season.

OCTOBER 13, 2005 PERRAS LEADS HERALD SUN TOUR; JACQUES-MAYNES TAKES FIRST WIN AS A DAD

Although the domestic road season is over, the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team has kept its September momentum rolling into October, with Dominique Perras and Glen Mitchell taking part in the Jayco Herald Sun Tour in Australia and Ben Jacques-Maynes taking a break from baby duties to race a little bit of cyclocross.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2005 KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA'S THREE-NATION SEASON FINALE

This past weekend marked the end of the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team's 2005 racing season, and the team had riders competing in the Mercy Celebrity Classic in Arkansas, the Bermuda Grand Prix, and the UCI World Road Cycling Championships in Madrid.

SEPTEMBER 23, 2005 PERRAS MAKES LAST-MINUTE TRIP TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Canadian Cycling Association announced today that Dominique Perras of the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team will take part in Sunday's Elite Men's Road Race at the UCI Road World Championships, filling in for Michael Barry (Discovery Channel).

Glen Mitchell followed up his fifth place in last weekend’s Barclays Global Investors Grand Prix SF with a win at Cougar Mountain, while Scott Zwizanski and Jackson Stewart took third and fourth.

While his Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada teammates were delivering great performances in the Barclays Global Investors Grand Prix SF, Dan Schmatz put in work of his own at the four-race Gateway Cup in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri over the Labor Day weekend.

AUGUST 21, 2005 KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA TAKES 4TH, MANY PRIMES IN USPRO CRIT CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team got on the gas early in today's USPRO Criterium Championships and never let up, eventually placing Dan Schmatz 4th in the bunch finish.

AUGUST 14, 2005 GODFREY, ZWIZANSKI AND SCHMATZ TAKE WINS FOR KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA

The Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team earned three race wins over the weekend from Hayden Godfrey, Scott Zwizanski, and Dan Schmatz, while Russell Hamby was 7th in the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix.

JULY 31, 2005 KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA 4TH, 7TH IN TOONA FINALE

Summing up a Tour de Toona in which the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team earned nine top-10 stage finishes, wore the KOM jersey on three days, and took fourth place on team G.C., Operations Manager Kurt Stockton said, “The team is gelling better and better, and the KOM jersey was a good rallying point. I'm glad we came here to Altoona, and it was a good race for us, all in all.”

JULY 30, 2005 KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA MOVES UP ON TOONA’S HARDEST DAY

Today’s difficult 93-mile road race was bound to decide the general classification in the seven-day Tour de Toona, and the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team used the opportunity to move up from 8th to 4th on team G.C. as Ben Jacques-Maynes, Dominique Perras, and Tim Larkin made the day’s major selection on the Blue Knob climb.

JULY 29, 2005 KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA CONTINUES AGGRESSIVELY; SCHMATZ FIFTH

In today's fifth stage of the Tour de Toona, the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team continued its aggressive racing over the course of four flat 19-mile laps in the town of Martinsburg.

JULY 28, 2005 KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA AGGRESSIVE AS MITCHELL REGAINS KOM LEAD

The Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team went on the offensive in today's fourth stage of the Tour de Toona, a 60-mile circuit race in the nearby town of Hollidaysburg, with Glen Mitchell regaining the KOM lead and Ben Jacques-Maynes spending most of the race off the front.

As expected, Ben Jacques-Maynes and Dominique Perras of the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team were among the strongest climbers in the Tour de Toona.

“This is the real Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada,” said the team’s racing manger, Robin Zellner, after Dominique Perras took over the Fitchburg-Longsjo Classic lead from Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada teammate Ben Jacques-Maynes in today’s 104-mile road race, finishing at the summit of Mt. Wachusett.

After Ben Jacques-Maynes’ win yesterday in the opening time trial at the Fitchburg-Longsjo Classic, the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team did today what a race leader’s team is supposed to do: mark dangerous riders, allow a non-threatening breakaway some rope, and bring everything back together for the finish.

The Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling team delivered its first National Racing Calendar win today, as Ben Jacques-Maynes won the 7-mile opening time trial at the Fitchburg-Longsjo Classic.

The Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team wrapped up a three-race, two-coast weekend with Jackson Stewart’s win on Sunday in the Fidelity Investments Burlingame Criterium presented by Kodakgallery.com.

Over 100 riders started today's final stage of the Tour de Nez, only 33 finished, and Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada had 5 in the top 15. But, as Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Operations Manager Kurt Stockton commented, "4th, 6th, 9th, 13th, and 14th places don't really reflect how well our team rode today."

The first day of the Tour de Nez saw high winds and a fire shape the outcome of the morning time trial in Verdi, Nevada, while cold and altitude were major factors in the evening criterium in Truckee, California.

Racing today at the Wachovia USPRO Championships, the Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team placed Dominique Perras in an early field split of over 40 riders that simply rode away from the field and eventually produced the winning breakaway.

The Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team started attacking early in today's Wachovia Cycling Series race in Trenton, and continued their activity near the front of the race until the closing miles, where sprinters Jackson Stewart and Russell Hamby finished in the top 25.

MAY 28, 2005 MITCHELL TAKES THIRD IN KELLY CUP TO PREVENT COLAVITA-SUTTER HOME SWEEP

The downpour began minutes before the start of today's Kelly Cup, presenting an opportunity for Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada's Glen Mitchell and Jackson Stewart to escape with Mark McCormack and Aaron Olson, both of Colavita-Sutter Home, on the second of 40 1-mile laps through Baltimore's Patterson Park.

MAY 22, 2005 PERRAS DROPS TO 6TH IN SURPRISING CONNECTICUT FINALE

A surprise ending in today's final stage of the Tour of Connecticut dropped Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada's Dominique Perras from fourth to sixth place overall, as Mark McCormack (Colavita-Sutter Home) and Todd Wells (Capital Velo Club) escaped late in the race and snatched first and second overall.

MAY 21, 2005 PERRAS TAKES 4TH PLACE AND CLIMBER'S JERSEY IN CONNECTICUT STAGE 2

"Today went according to plan," said Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Racing Manager Robin Zellner after Dominique Perras made the winning break in Stage 2 of the Tour of Connecticut, placing fourth on the stage and taking the Climber's Jersey.

As the Dodge Tour de Georgia drew to a close today, Dominique Perras of the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team made a last-ditch effort for a stage win as part of a four-rider breakaway that formed after 65 miles of the 125-mile stage from Blairsville to Alpharetta.

APRIL 23, 2005 KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA'S PERRAS AND STEWART SURVIVE BRASSTOWN BALD

Jackson Stewart and Dominique Perras of the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team put in respectable performances on the very difficult 113-mile stage 5 of the Dodge Tour de Georgia from Gainseville to the summit of Brasstown Bald Mountain.

Despite the downpours, hail, and gusting winds that swept over today's 133-mile stage of the Dodge Tour de Georgia, the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team supplied two strong rides from Dominique Perras and Jackson Stewart.

The rain began to fall shortly before Jackson Stewart, the Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada rider to ride, entered the start house and continued throughout the day, making for treacherous conditions on the course, which included the difficult climb of Mt. Alto.

The Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team closed out the Redlands Classic with a difficult day in the tough Sunset loop. Bright spots on the day were Hayden Godfrey's winning the first points sprint to lock up second place overall in the sprint points classification, and Jackson Stewart's strong ride in the race's main breakaway.

A strong early season continued for Jackson Stewart of the Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team, with a ninth place finish in today's criterium stage of the Redlands Classic.

APRIL 1, 2005 MIXED RESULTS FOR KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA AT OAK GLEN

Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada's Glen Mitchell said after today's second stage of the Redlands Classic, "we had a good ride but not a good result," and that is a fair summary of the team's performance in the 107-mile race finishing at the top of Oak Glen.

MARCH 31, 2005 JACQUES-MAYNES TAKES THIRD IN REDLANDS OPENER

Ben Jacques-Maynes of the Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team placed third in today's prologue at the Redlands Bicycle Classic. Jacques-Maynes's time of 9:02 in the 3.1 mile hillclimb held at Mt. Rubidoux park in Riverside was 13 seconds off the pace of race winner Chris Wherry (Health Net-Maxxis).

The Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team has finalized its eight-man roster for the PoolGel Redlands Bicycle Classic. The team will be Hayden Godfrey, Russell Hamby, Ben Jacques-Maynes, Tim Larkin, Glen Mitchell, Dominique Perras, Jackson Stewart, and Scott Zwizanski.

Tim Larkin of the Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team outsprinted David Zabriskie (CSC) and Eric Wohlberg (Symmetrics Cycling) to win yesterday's notorious Copperopolis Road Race in Northern California.

Representing New Zealand in the world track cycling championships, Hayden Godfrey of the Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team failed to qualify for the individual pursuit final, placing 12th in this morning's qualifying at the ADT Event Center velodrome at the Home Depot Center.

The Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team picked up three local race wins over the weekend, with Russell Hamby taking both the Land Park and West Sacramento criteriums in his hometown of Sacramento and Ben Jacques-Maynes winning the Rocky Mountain Raceway criterium in Salt Lake City.

MARCH 6, 2005 LARKIN'S LAST LAP ATTACK FALLS SHORT IN MCLANE ROAD RACE

In a generally uneventful 120 mile race that was tightly controlled by the teams of the dominant sprinters, Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada co-captain Tim Larkin had perhaps the day's most dangerous breakaway when he attacked with 20 miles remaining and held a gap of up to 1'15" before being caught inside the last 3 miles.

Jackson Stewart of the Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team placed seventh in a sprint finish at today's McLane Pacific Downtown Criterium in Merced, California, the opening race of the U.S. professional cycling season.

FEB 18, 2005 KODAK GALLERY/SIERRA NEVADA HEADS TO NAPA FOR TRAINING CAMP, MEDIA DAY

Beginning on Monday, February 21, the Kodak EasyShare Gallery/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team will make its final preparations for the 2005 season at a two-week training camp to be held in Napa, California.

Cycling fans will have a chance to train with the team from February 25-27 at a public camp hosted by Endurance Mill Valley, the official supplier of coaching and performance testing to Kodak Gallery/Sierra Nevada.

Racing for a local composite team, New Zealander Hayden Godfrey has posted the Kodak EasyShare Gallery (formerly Ofoto)/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team’s first 2005 victories, comfortably winning ield sprints in the opening and final starges of the Trust House Tour of Wellington in his home country.

DEC 21, 2004 OFOTO AND SIERRA NEVADA RIDE TOGETHER INTO 2005

Principal Sports Management Group announced today the formation of the Ofoto/Sierra Nevada Professional Cycling Team, combining the resources of both sponsors' existing programs.

The eleven-rider Ofoto/Sierra Nevada squad includes four riders and one manager from each of Sierra Nevada’s and Ofoto’s 2004 teams, along with three newcomers. .
