September 1, 2006 JACQUES-MAYNES SATISFIED WITH TIME TRIAL AS KGSN REMAINS CONFIDENT FOR ROAD RACE

Blistering heat and constantly shifting winds marked today's 94-mile stage 2 of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, and Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada's Dominique Perras and Jesse Anthony used the stage's difficult finish as a chance to test their form heading into the race's decisive stages.

August 7, 2006 ANTHONY LEADS KOM AFTER UTAH STAGE 1

After a hectic start to today's mainly flat 105-mile first stage of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada's Jesse Anthony spent most of the race in a two-rider breakaway, winning the day's only King of the Mountain points and taking the lead in the best climber competition.

July 16, 2006 LOPINTO BREAKS THROUGH AT SUPERWEEK

After a string of near misses at the "Superweek" race series in Wisconsin and Illinois, the Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team broke through as Pete Lopinto earned his first career National Racing Calendar win in this evening's 100km criterium in Bensenville, Illinois.

July 2, 2006 SCHMATZ AND STEWART GO 1-2 IN FITCHBURG CRIT; PERRAS 3RD IN CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

After placing second in last Saturday's Rochester Twilight Criterium, Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada's Dan Schmatz sprinted to the top of the podium ahead of teammate Jackson Stewart in today's final stage of the Fitchburg Longsjo Classic, a technical 50-mile criterium in downtown Fitchburg.

Racing after dark in front of a raucous crowd estimated at 40,000 by Mayor Robert Duffy, the Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team rode an impressive team race in tonight's Saturn Rochester Twilight Criterium, with five riders placing in the top 25 and Dan Schmatz finishing 2nd.

June 16, 2006 GILBERT MOST AGGRESSIVE IN NATURE VALLEY STAGE 2

In yesterday's windswept second stage of the Nature Valley Grand Prix, Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada's Jackson Stewart and Martin Gilbert found their way into the decisive split of 16 riders that gained over five minutes on the field during the 60-mile Cannon Falls road race.

Winning the Cat's Hill Classic in Los Gatos, California for the second time in three years, Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada's Ben Jacques-Maynes easily outsprinted his former Sierra Nevada teammate Eric Wohlberg (Symmetrics) after the two lapped the field, and KGSN's Jackson Stewart - the defending Cat's Hill winner - led home the chase group for third.

April 23, 2006 JACQUES-MAYNES 6TH AGAIN, ANTHONY 10TH AS TEAM FINISHES STRONG

The Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team turned out another solid performance in today's final stage of the Ford Tour de Georgia, as Ben Jacques-Maynes took his third sixth-place finish of the race, young gun Jesse Anthony cracked the top 10, and Scott Zwizanski rode in the breakaway for most of the day.

April 22, 2006 JACQUES-MAYNES AND ANTHONY LEAD TEAM ON BRASSTOWN BALD

After starting from Blairsville in a steady rain, the fifth stage of the Ford Tour de Georgia finished 95 miles later under clear skies atop the notorious climb of Brasstown Bald Mountain, the state's highest peak. Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada's Ben Jacques-Maynes was the team's best finisher in 34th place, while Jesse Anthony was next for the team in 46th.

April 8, 2006 STEWART 4TH IN SEA OTTER CIRCUIT RACE

Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada's Jackson Stewart placed fourth this afternoon in the Sea Otter Classic's Pro Circuit Race, which - at 31 laps of the 2.3-mile Laguna Seca racetrack - was the longest-ever edition of this difficult event.

Wrapping up the Redlands Bicycle Classic today, the Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team pulled out all the stops to help Ben Jacques-Maynes take third in the Sunset Road Race and move up in the overall standings.

Without a race on the Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team's official calendar, this past week saw team members competing in a variety of races at the local, national, and international levels. Scott Zwizanski won a pair of races in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, while Pete Lopinto took out the CU Cycling Criterium and Jason Allen and Martin Gilbert represented New Zealand and Canada, respectively, at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia.

The Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team spent the weekend in Fresno for the Central Valley Classic, where Ben Jacques-Maynes placed 2nd in Friday's individual time trial.

February 26, 2006 ZWIZANSKI'S BREAKAWAY CONCLUDES AMGEN TOUR OF CALIFORNIA

In today's final stage of the Amgen Tour of Calfornia, the Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team wrapped up the race's first edition with another day of aggressive riding, as Scott Zwizanski was part of a four-rider break that led the 76-mile circuit race in Redondo Beach nearly from start to finish.

With today's sixth stage of the Amgen Tour of California presenting the final few climbs of the eight-day race, Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada's Dominique Perras went on the attack just two miles into the race and again on the steep climb of Balcolm Canyon Road.

February 23, 2006 STEWART 8TH, JACQUES-MAYNES 13TH IN LONGEST STAGE

Today's 130-mile stage was the longest of the Amgen Tour of California, and Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada earned its highest stage finish thus far, as Jackson Stewart placed 8th in a bunch sprint won by Juan Jose Haedo (Toyota-United).

February 22, 2006 STEWART LEADS TEAM, JACQUES-MAYNES HAPPY WITH RIDE

DECEMBER 23, 2005 SRAM ANNOUNCES KODAKGALLERY.COM/SIERRA NEVADA AS SOLE U.S. ROAD TEAM

SRAM will debut its much-anticipated new professional-level racing technology on the North American continental race calendar with the Kodakgallery.com/Sierra Nevada Pro Cycling Team.
The 12-member squad will be SRAM’s sole U.S.-based road team with a multi-year agreement that begins in 2006.
